It is January – the month after a spending season and majority of us are feeling the pinch in our pockets. Despite this, we all want to look beautiful. However, with the January woes in toe, you may not all be able to pass by the high-end cosmetics counter at the mall and pick your favourite name brand of cosmetics. So, how then do you manage the fabulous look without straining your pockets? Here are 10 tips on how to stay and look beautiful on a budget.

  1. When choosing your skincare products, focus more on the quality and contents in the products rather than on the price of the product.
  2. DIY; which means learn how do to it yourself. Instead of spending a whole lot on manicures and pedicure routines you can do it at home using Vaseline.  Soak your feet and hands in warm water, clip the nails, scrub your feet then rinse and dry.   5. Multi-use products; these are products which can serve many purposes.
  6. Less is more. Instead of buying different numerous beauty brands you can focus on three or two that can be helpful to your beauty regimes.
  7. Exercise. Exercising is great for your health as well as giving your skin a healthy look. This regular physical activity helps with sweating out toxins from your body and therefore boosting your health and giving a natural glow for your skin.
  8. Nature. Studies show that nature has a way of calming nerves, therefore getting enough sunlight streaming through your home is essential.
  9. Diet: Your skin outlook reflects what you eat. Eat a balanced diet with adequate fruits to help your overall skin’s look.
  10. Maintenance. Pay attention to the products maintenance so you can prolong their shelf life.
